I know. I am boarding a ship that's already been sunk by one or two canons, and drowining under water.

This is my third, and oddly enough, it's the characters from my first and second and just put them together. So, technically I've only drawn two charcters... hmm.

Inspired by the cliché [yin and yang, opposites, element contrasts, etc etc] 'Zutara' impulses. It's cliché because it's the obvious thing. I'm only thinking logically, not making claims with that statement.

I'm still fairly new, and I'll keep saying that until actually see a nice amount of episodes. My knowledge of the series is limited, so I tend to pick out the "obvious" things.

I find Zuko/Katara one of the more interesting pairings in the series; being completely on opposite ends, yet still having similarities and that "common thread", so to speak, by which I mean, according to Season 2 finale, the loss of their mother. Or, any other arguement a shipper of this pairing could supply.

Cus really and truly, I don't know that much.

I just thought I'd express it through the "cliché" of oppositeness, since it was easier, their character being naturally, well for a lack of a better word, opposites.

That could explain the pose, with a 'yin and yang' feel to it.

The colours are a mess, I know. I didn't plan on a colour scheme when I started. I was thinking to go with red, since I really like Season3!Katara alot, but it seemed too one-sided. So I came up with purple. LOL. Blue.. Red..

I don't think it worked that well.. and the background. It's a mix of water and fire. I was clinging to the element theme, but now that I look at it, I should've gone ahead with 'Sun & Moon'. That would've been easier, I think...

LOL, oh wellz. There's always next time.
